Our pocket nappies and quick-drying AI2s and fitted nappies are currently available in a large variety of fabrics and colours. Nappies with a fleece outer or hidden PUL layer will not need a separate nappy cover, whereas fitted nappies/pockets with a terry towelling or other cotton fabric outer layer will need a cover if waterproofing is desired. All Pookey Pockets nappies/covers fasten with either snaps or velcro (HTH and loop 2000) or have no closures for use with a snappi fastener (nappies with terry outer only).

The EveryDay range consists of a selection of everyday fabrics, at a realistic price for day-to-day use. The Special Edition range uses fabrics chosen to bring you an extra-special nappy that you will love to show off!

Quick-dry fitted nappies
Pookey Pockets quick-dry fitted nappies are designed to reduce the drying time usually associated with fitted nappies. They will need a separate cover if waterproofing is desired.

Quick-dry nappies consist of an outer shell (outer fabric, hidden flannelette layer, inner fabric) with a snap-in shaped booster (2 layers of bamboo or hemp, inner fabric) and a long snap-in booster (2 layers bamboo or hemp) which is folded to provide extra absorbency giving at least 6 layers in the wet zone for M/L/XL sizes. Newborn and small nappies have their own  snap-in booster system with 4 layers with the option to upgrade to 6 layers if desired.

AI2s
Pookey Pockets AI2s are designed to reduce the drying time usually associated with AIO nappies.

They consist of an outer shell (outer fabric, hidden PUL layer, inner fabric) with a snap-in shaped booster (2 layers of bamboo or hemp, inner fabric) and a long snap-in booster (2 layers bamboo or hemp) which is folded to provide extra absorbency giving at least 6 layers in the wet zone with the option for an additional 2 layer booster if desired in M/L/XL nappies.

Pocket nappies can be stuffed with pretty much anything absorbent - from specially made pocket inserts or prefolds, to face washers, flat nappies (terry or flannelette), tea towels or cut up old towels.

Fitted pockets
Pookey Pockets fitted pocket nappies are made from a variety of cotton and cotton blend fabrics. These pockets will need a separate cover if waterproofing is desired. They are designed to combine the flexibility and fast drying features of a pocket nappy with the natural materials and other benefits of a fitted nappy (with or without a cover).

Hemp or bamboo fitted pockets make an ideal night nappy, especially when paired with a stay-dry fleece inner layer and used with a fleece or wool cover.

Fleece pockets
Our fleece pockets are an AIO pocket nappy, which means they don't need a cover, making them ideal for when you are out and about.

They consist of 2 outer layers of anti-pill polar fleece with a staydry inner layer of fleece to keep baby feeling dry. Fleece pockets are much more breathable than PUL pocket nappies, so are also great for night time use.

Inserts
Pocket inserts consist of 2 layers of hemp or bamboo, and are available in two different sizes. Small inserts are a bifold insert measuring approximately 18 x 25cm. The large insert measures approximately 30 x 36cm and can be folded into 3 or 4 depending on your requirements.

Covers
Pookey Pockets covers are made from two layers of polar fleece. They are sized to accommodate terry flats as well as modern cloth nappies.
